Artist Trust is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting Washington State artists working in all creative disciplines. It was founded in 1987 by a group of arts patrons and artists who were concerned about the lack of support for individual artists. As of September 2008, Artist Trust has granted over $3.2 million in direct support to more than 1,653 Washington State artists of all disciplines. In addition, it offers resources and information for thousands of artists each year. It is located in Seattle, Washington, and serves the entire state.
