Every year, Getty Images awards five professional photojournalists individual grants of $20,000 each. Professional grant recipients are given the opportunity to sign a one-year exclusive-rights deal with Getty Images whereby their work will be marketed and available for license to customers worldwide through gettyimages.com, while retaining copyright of their imagery.
