GFEM is an association of grantmakers committed to advancing the field of media arts and public service media funding. GFEM serves as a resource for grantmakers who fund media programming and infrastructure, as well as those who may employ media to further their program goals. GFEM members reflect a broad range of interests and approaches, but share the view of media as a vital form of human expression and creativity, and a concern for the key role played by media in building public will and shaping civil society.
