Founded in 1903, NCJW is the oldest national Jewish women's volunteer organization in America. Today, Portland section members dedicate themselves to helping Americans and Israelis of all races, religions and economic backgrounds through a combined and active approach of advocacy, community service, education, and research with special emphasis on women's, children's and family issues.
