Oregon Cultural Trust

Oregon Cultural Trust+description

The Oregon Cultural Trust is an innovative private-public funding partnership that's been compared to the bottle and beach bills as among Oregon's most progressive public policy measures. Donors who match their cultural donations (including to Work for Art) with a gift to the Trust may claim a 100% tax credit for their Trust gift, reducing their Oregon state income tax by $500 for individuals, $1,000 for couples or $2,500 for corporations. Trust donors are building a permanent endowment for cultural funding and providing the money for grants to arts, heritage and humanities nonprofits that benefit every county in Oregon.
