Community Focus

A majority of the Otto Bremer Foundation’s assets are invested in Bremer Financial Corporation, a registered bank holding company that retains ownership of banks, insurance agencies, and related financial services. Earnings generated by this and other investments support local nonprofit activities through the grant making activities of the Foundation. Because of this close affiliation with Bremer Financial Corporation, the Foundation remains committed to the countryside with a focus on the rural regions served by Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin Bremer affiliates.
