  • PRI Makers Network is an association of grantmakers that use program-related and other investments to accomplish their philanthropic goals. We provide a forum for networking, professional development, collaboration and outreach to funders, including those not currently making PRIs or other social investments. Through our activities, we seek to strengthen the capacity of grantmakers to effect change across diverse program areas. In 2008, PRI Makers Network relocated from Neighborhood Funders Group (Washington, DC) to Philanthropy Northwest (PNW), a regional association of grantmakers based in Seattle, Washington. Philanthropy Northwest has a thirty-year history in promoting innovation and providing support to philanthropy, and has a particular interest to develop program-related investment capacity in foundations. About the Transition.

PRI Makers Network Members come from more than 90 foundations of all sizes from every region of the country, with a wide range of programmatic goals.

Members pay dues based on their level of annual PRI activity. See Membership Eligibility Guidelines.

  • a nonprofit group asks:

"We would like to conduct a social impact study of our members that  illustrate the programmatic impact nonprofits have on the community. We have been able to find reports for the economic impact of nonprofits, but not a compilation of their social impact, their program benchmarks, as it were. Do you know of any reports or organizations that are doing this kind of work that we could link with or use their survey work?"

Indeed, we have extensive information here:

    Social Impact of Nonprofits
    Philanthropy and Social Impact
