Public and Community Access Television+definitions

public access television is the availability of one or more television stations to the general public. If public access television is offered within a municipality, resources available to the public will include a part-time or full time cable TV channel, possibly more than one, and may also include studios, equipment, and staff to assist in the production of shows. The channel and facilities may be administrated by the cable company but the cable company cannot control the material shown on a public access channel.
