Riverside provides vocational training and employment to about 55 adults with disabilities, and residential care and/or supported living services to about 38 individuals.
Riverside employs individuals with severe disabilites in its contract packaging facility on Port Avenue. In addition, Riverside employs individuals in contracted janitorial services for city and state offices, and supports others in private companies and retail firms throughout the county. We also employ individuals to provide job development and skill training for individualized placement in community based jobs.
Riverside provides fulltime residential care and support to people in six residences. Four in St. Helens with one each in Columbia City and Scappoose. Each residence serves about 5 individuals and is 24 hour residential care. In addition, Riverside provides part time resdiential support for people living in their own homes or apartments.
Riverside is a not for profit organization which was incorporated in 1974.
